In a Different Light...

...Provo seems more mysterious. O'lover and I love walking at nightfall and passing dark houses with lit up windows. Everyone's having dinner or getting ready for bed. It's time to wind down after a busy day.

But the favorite part of our walk is coming home to the cottage and treehouse aglow.

Home feels like home.

Don't you love it that there's now a chill in the night air...and you look at the place where you live and know warmth and comforts are just inside?

Goodnight everyone! Pleasant dreams!

xo,
quel

p.s. here's the ladder to the first floor of the treehouse.
and the ladder from the second floor to the sleeping loft.

#1 michelle and i wanted to see the window in your tree house for real. so we knocked on your door a few nights ago and no one answered. so we trespassed in your back yard and snooped around in the branches. and we love it up there.
#2 i covet your house. and tree house. and garden. and possibly your bike.

Raquel, your photos are amazing! Your home looks so beautiful, I wish I could see it in person. My kids would go NUTS over your tree house, it would be heaven for them! Simply gorgeous girl! Sooo good to be in touch with you again!

Dear Sister,
Your niece and nephew can't wait to go back and see you next summer. Yesterday morning as we drove to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Sabrina remarked from the back seat, "If we were in Utah right now, we'd be at the Farmer's Market with Auntie 'Quellie." This sent both kids into a ten minute trip down memory lane of their most recent Summer. Love to all. S
